Deutsche Bank (DB) revised its price target on Acme Packet Inc. (NASDAQ:APKT) to $25 from $30, while maintaining its "Hold" rating on the stock on growth caution.
After pre-announcing, the provider of communication services reported fourth-quarter revenues of $83 million and pro-forma EPS of $0.26, below DB estimate and consensus, the bank noted.
"The disappointing outlook of 10% CY12 revenue growth is indicative of near-term weakness in telco SBC demand and lack of visibility into growth catalysts such as SBC design wins in Tier-1 VoLTE and VoIP platforms," DB wrote in a note.
That said, the bank said it remains positive on long-term trends for SBC rollouts in enterprise and carrier VoIP and in various adjacent markets.
APKT shares, which have been trading between $25.20 and $84.50 in the 52-week period, jumped 8.9% to $33.64 on Friday.
